Nach fünf Jahren und über 60 Konzerten mit diversen Projekten und Musik von einer Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Komponisten, ist es vor allem die eigene Musik, welche dem Lucerne Jazz Orchestra am Herzen liegt und welche die Band am besten portraitiert. So ist auch "still now", die dritte CD des Ensembles, zu hören als Essenz des musikalischen Selbstverständnisses - geprägt von Neugierde und Innovationsgeist. Die Intimität mit welcher die Kompositionen von Karin Meier, David Grottschreiber und Aurel Nowak eingespielt wurden, zeugt von der langen und intensiven Zusammenarbeit zwischen Komponisten und Band. So entspringt die Energie des Kollektivs dem Wissen um die Individualität des einzelnen Musikers.
